Backstory

My journey began in high school when I first discovered data science. At the time, I was drawn to engineering because I loved understanding how things worked. But as I learned more about data science, I became captivated by the idea of uncovering hidden patterns and insights from data.

This fascination, combined with data science being dubbed “The Sexiest Job of the 21st Century” (a title that admittedly swayed my ambitious teenage brain more than it probably should have), set me on my path.

I earned my Bachelor’s in Management Information Systems, followed by a Master’s in Statistics and Data Science from the University of Houston. Shortly before graduation, I landed my first role as a statistician, and within a year achieved my goal of becoming a data scientist.

Nearly a decade later, I still share that same passion for uncovering the world’s hidden secrets through data. In the past two years, I’ve combined this with my love of building, transitioning into AI engineering and becoming an expert in Generative AI and AI agents.
